But what sets Thunderbolt apart from other indoor karting locations?

At Thunderbolt you will feel the need for speed in fast, electric karts that don’t leave behind the smelly fumes that traditional gas karts do. Other indoor karting locations in Richmond use gas-powered karts, which means they have to have extreme ventilation measures, making it difficult to keep the track cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Still, with the ventilation, indoor tracks that use gas-powered karts can become prone to smelling like fumes. At Thunderbolt, our electric karts move just as fast as their gas-powered alternatives, but leave the fumes behind in the dust.
